Reaper Sweepstakes

Greetings Fellow Rats,

Today’s column is presented as a little relief for you while you are busy running around in your maze looking for cheese.  Today’s column is a brief time-out from an otherwise hectic world.

This morning I awoke to a pleasant surprise….all the chemicals inside my head are flowing smoothly.   I am riding high, rolling on the upswing of my roller coaster.  I even went for a run this morning.  I tricked myself into running.  You see, there is a Starbucks about 1 mile from my house (I’m pretty sure there is a Starbucks 1 mile from everyone’s house) and it’s all downhill to get there.  So I run all the way there because my brain will do almost anything for a cup of Starbuck’s coffee.  Then, once I get my fix, I have to walk all the way back up the hill.  Ha!

Today I would like to share with you a little gift in honor of  the three day weekend and as a way to say thank you for all those who have supported this blog.  I am feeling so good I want to offer you some inspiration today.  A little tool I use to help me lighten up and keep the proper perspective in life when I am feeling down.  Click on the link below to listen to a song that I cue up every now and then when I’m feeling a little scared, depressed or simply resigned to my fate.

Hope it puts a spring in your step and smile on your face today.

Thank you to all who have continued to read my blog and offer words of encouragement and feedback, you have no idea how much I appreciate it.   This blog is my second favorite thing to do.  My favorite thing is….umm….well… know.
